Default proof- check my CV please

I've reread it a million times, but don't know anyone who knows english well enough to proof-read it.. My life-story is rather complicated or maybe it's just my impression :))
I began asking separate questions in other parts of the forum, but realised that it might make more sense to post the whole thing..
I'm most worried about the 'Bialy Krzyz' experience part - does it make sense to someone reading it for the first time?
I want to work in the UK - and did my best at making it sound Br-E.. but I'm not sure that I got it all right (grammar..)
Anyway, I'll be gratefull for any tips/comments..

Work experience (part-time)
General Assistant, in “Zajazd Bialy Krzyz” in Szczyrk
September 2001 – March 2005, (on the weekends, or when extra help was needed in peak season)
It’s a small dining facility, based in an old highlanders cottage. I began working as a waitress/bartender, my duties progressed with time, though they varied depending on the current need. I would check for and buy supplies, negotiate with sales representatives, and organise private parties/events. It taught me flexibility, as well as keeping an eye for both the detail and smooth running of the whole facility.
Through preparing a marketing strategy for the Inn I developed analytic and diagnostic skills. (The parts already put to life include preparing a website, interior design modernization, adding new dishes to the menu and diversifying the offer for organized groups.)
Dealing with difficult matters/clients I learned to find reasonable solutions to the problems in a calm and efficient manner. I have also developed the ability to work in a high pressure environment.

Hostess,
June 1999 – December 2003, on club promotions organized by Unicom BOLS Poland
March 1998 –June 1999, in campaigns organized for “Piast” and BAT products
Duties included preparing clubs for the events, informing potential clients, holding contests and prize giveaways. This work required a lot of creative thinking and developed my problem solving abilities as well as the art of dealing tactfully with difficult consumers.

Tour Manager,
September 1999, on a bus going to and from Port Grimaud for Young Travel
October 1998, on an 8 day pilgrimage to Vatican, organised by the church parish;
Responsible for the general group well-being, route selection, trouble-free border-crossing and guiding the tourists around Italian towns. Strengthened interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Additional Education and Work Placements
2002 – 2003 Marketing and Management Licencjat studies at the Jagiellonian University;
finished first year with a very good grade average

4-15 February 2002, Orbis Tour Office in Wroclaw;
Did general office work (answered and made phone calls, wrote and translated e-mails, did photocopies, edited PC databases, etc) and prepared offers for clients

40 hours in November 2001, Tourism branch of the Interia website;
Learned about tourism information systems, while using MS Excel, MS Access and Oracle for database completion. I came up with the idea and wrote an article on Wroclaw’s history and it’s tourist attractions. It can be found on the Interia webpage together with my photo gallery of the Corfu Island

3-16 February 2001, Winter Universiade in Zakopane.
Host and translator for a VIP (FISU member).
Taking care of the spare time he had and being responsible for his drivers’ presence, developed organizational skills
