 letter to friend

Dear Fiona
I’m terribly sorry to hear about what happened to your dad’s silver. You’re right in saying it must have been an insider’s job as I think I know who the culprit is.
In today’s Oxford Mail, there’s an advert for the sale of a silver teapot which, I’m absolutely sure, is your father’s piece. You might be wondering how I can be so sure about that. The seller is no other than Michael – he even has the nerve to put down his own phone number on the advert. How pathetic! Fiona, even if he really loves you, he surely has a strange way of showing his affection. While I know I really shouldn’t tell you how to live your life, I can’t stand by idly and watch my best friend got conned by a lying thief. Leave it to me to get the pot back but, for goodness sake, dump him my dear. Don’t even think about staying under the same roof with such a crook.
When I get the teapot back I’ll keep it until you come here so don’t you worry anymore. Just tell your dad that you found it back from a friend who is a practical joker or something along that line to keep him happy for now.
