Proper nouns are the names of individual people, places, etc. E.g.,
Mabel, London, Hotel California, Green Meadow Primary School, Monday, October, etc. The first letter of a proper noun is a capital letter.
Common nouns are the general words for people or things. E.g.,
teacher, cat, trees, table, house, sugar, school, holiday, happiness, journey, etc.
