I am doing my thesis research, about a compartive study of English and Spanish metaphoric language in every day speech, as a previous step to obtain the Bachelor's Degree in Teaching English as a foreign Language, "let be mentioned" that I am not a native speaker, so I have some questions to be clarified. thanks for help me.
I will point out only some senteces that seem so easy but I still have problems on it.

Metaphors are used specially by people from 31 to 45 years old
Metaphors are used specially by people of 31 to 45 years old

there were a group of friends from 30 to 40 years old
there were a group of friends of 30 to 40 years old

metaphors are used in all cultural background or
metaphors are used at all cultural background

metaphors in English were obtained by watching films and cable TV
metaphors in English were obtained by watching films and TV cable. that correction did my advisor.

this speech act was informal, and the way the man said the metaphor was emphatically, and he looked very annoyed, on the other hand, the child looked very frieghted.
