    Default When to use "Whosoever".

    Hello everybody,

    I have few questions.

    1. What is called "Whosoever"? and When to use it?
    2. Could you please give me an example of "Whosoever and whatever"
    3. Is there any word called "Whatsoever" and if so could you pls give me the meaning and example

    Ah, Bob - which version of the Bible did you grow up with? "Whosoever believeth in me shall not perish, but shall have ever lasting life." Wasn't it something like that? However, outside of that particular context, I'm pretty sure I've never said "whosoever."

    I do say "whatsover" in connection with "no." There is no connection whatsoever between my huge donation to the Police Benevolence Society and the fact that my speeding ticked mysteriously disappeared. There is no chance whatsoever that I will EVER go out with you while there is life in my limbs and breath in my body.

    Depends on your Bible translation. King James has the "whosoever believeith." NIV has "whoever believes."

    Anyway, there's still no other context I can think of outside of the Bible. (Just for fun, I did a search on "whosoever" in the King James and it's used 163 times.)

    {Not a teacher, but someone who grew up going to Sunday School every week! }

    I haven't checked, but there are probably a few "whomsoever"s there too.
