Need some help on my linguistic papers...

Greetings to all...
I'm currently working on some papers entitled: (1) Modality in Manado Malay, (2) Endocentric Phrases in Tolour Language, and (3) Receptive Language Skills. I need to know more about the things needed to write those papers.
The trouble is: in my area, there are only a few references for those subjects...
I would like to ask for some detailed explanation and lots of examples, especially on the first 2 papers: Modality and Endocentric Phrases, so that I can compare it to the 2 local languages I'm working on.
