Dear teachers.

I wonder which is natural, (1) or (2)?
(1). My car broke down. I had to get the bus.
(2). My car broke down. I had to take the bus.

Hello,

The second one is correct.
My car broke down. I had to take the bus, but I was to late so I didn't get it.

They are both correct, but I agree that the second sounds more natural.
