1. get a headache
2. have a headache
"Catch a cold" and "have a cold" don't mean the same thing, don't they? What about #1 and #2?

No they don't mean the same. Compare: 'If you don't stop that noise, I will get a headache.' and 'I have a headache because of the noise you are making'.
