Before OR in front of ???
Hellooo
I have such a small question
What's the difference between
Before and in front of , that both of them have the same meaning but can we use either of them in the same place of any sentence
E.g . I stood before her
I stood in front of her
Is there any difference between the first sentence and the second one ?? o
I hope you can help me
and I shall thank thee
:lol::lol::lol:
Thanks a lot

In your example sentence, before and in front of are interchangeable. Before sounds more formal.
Re: Before OR in front of ???
before may refer to place and time
in front of can refer to place but not time

What about this:
I think you've got a brilliant career in front of you.
Re: Before OR in front of ???
It is staring you in the face. ;-) It is on your doorbell.
Yes, it can refer to time. That possibility did not enter my head.

 Before can be used interchangeably with in front of in that example sentence as well. :-D

We can't say 'Come in front of 2 o'clock' instead of 'Come before 2 o'clock' however.:-);-)

 Exactly. :-D
That is the only possibility of in front of referring to a time event I could think of.

Apparently, all before are in front of, but not all in front of are before.
Re: Before OR in front of ???
Why'd you take up so much space for such a small question?
'I stood before her.' is ambiguous. You might have got up first!!
