Stay Around

Hi everybody.

I have a little question I hope someone can help me with.
Is it correct to say "The car´s velocity will stay around 60 km/h"? Can I use "stay around" in sentences like this? And, if not, how could I say ir properly?

Yes, you could say that. But generally a car's velocity depends upon the pressure applied to the accelerator by the driver's foot. So you might have to explain why it's going to stay around 60 kph.

"The car(´)s velocity will stay around 60 km/h"?

No apostrophe is needed. 'Car's' is a contraction of 'car is'.
