Brought or took?

Would you check this sentence?
#1 A ten-minute walk brought us to the TV station.

I wonder if " brought" in this sentence should be " took", because I think #2 can be rewritten to #3.

#2 If you take this bus, you can get to the museum.
#3 This bus will take you to the museum.

Would you help me with these sentences?

With #1, it depends where you are. If you're at the station, then 'brought' works better. If you're not, then I think 'took' would be better.

To take is to pull something towards you with your hand, e.g., Please take a chocolate.

To bring is to carry something with you, e.g., Please bring a pencil tomorrow.

The bus carried/brought us there.
We took the bus there.

#1 is an interesting one:

'A ten-minute walk brought us to the TV station.'

I see this as a part of a narrative, where the speaker is viewing the journey from the TV station, having already arrived there (or beyond). The perspective then is of movement (the walk 'carrying' the speaker) toward the speaker: hence, 'bring'.
