rephrasing of five sentences
Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether I am right with my attempt rephrasing the following sentences?
1.1.It is not so easy to set things right. It will take some doing.
1.2.It is not so easy to set things right. It will be quite an effort.
1.3.It is not so easy to set things right. It will take up a lot of time and energy.
2.1. We all went to the cafeteria across the road at recess.
2.2. We all went to the cafeteria across the road during the break.
3.1. In the innermost recess of my heart I felt I was unjust.
3.2. Deep down in my heart I felt I was unjust.
3.3. At the bottom of my heart I felt I was unjust.
4.1. He would talk a lot of the seamy side of life.
4.2. He would talk a lot of the unpleasant aspects of life.
5.1. Don’t be so hard on the boy, he meant well.
5.2. Don’t tread the boy severely, he meant well.
5.3. Don’t be unfair to the boy, he meant well.
