Default With regard to or in regard to

1. May I know which statement is gramatically correct "with regard to " or "In regard to "


2. Also i would like to know "Is Mumbai your native place" or "Are you originally from mumbai"

Which one of them is correct

In answer to your question 1., from in regards to

Business English is deadly enough without scrambling it. “As regards your downsizing plan . . .” is acceptable, if stiff. “In regard to” “and “with regard to” are also correct. But “in regards to” is nonstandard. You can also convey the same idea with “in respect to” or “with respect to,” or—simplest of all—just plain “regarding.”
In answer to your question 2.,
  • Are you originally from Mumbai?
