I wouldn't use the first one, "I start getting tired". Under what circumstances would you use? Mostly, I'd say "I'm getting tired."

I'm getting tired of reading books in the late late night.

Without kidding she called the police the other day by playing on the fax machine. 911 (emergency calls) cannot be deleted. At least she has taste - they were cute.

I got her phone call last night. I was surprised that her cat language had British-German accent.

Are you kidding! She falls under GRITS - girls rised in The South! Her only handicap - the wiskers are a dead giveaway.

Grits is a hot ceral of dried, ground corn, like polenta. It used to be poor folks food in The south but now it is the in-thing be it with cinnamon and sugar or shrimp and cheese.
