#2 is quite alright. What do you think?

I start getting tired or I am starting toget tired - depending on your circumstances.

The first one if fine, but the second one is (IMHO) quite ungrammatical. "I start to get tired" doesn't really make sense in any case. You could say: "I get tired when I walk too much." (The first one means the same as "I'm getting tired".)

2- I start to feel tired.


I think they are almost twin sentences just that #1 is a bit more emotional. Right?

I wouldn't use the first one, "I start getting tired". Under what circumstances would you use? Mostly, I'd say "I'm getting tired."

I'm getting tired of reading books in the late late night.

1- is the correct response. 2- doesn't work in that context. Note, the progressive tense "stop walking".

EX: Can we stop walking, because I'm starting to get tired right about now."

Consider,

EX: I walk 5 miles a day, and when I hit the four-mile mark, I start to get tired.

Dear O' Cassie,

I've been teaching FULL time for one year. When I look back on those days, I wouldn't say I have the best of my time, but things are going almost without a hitch. What murders me is that I have to run around the different work places. So to be honet, I'm starting to get tired.


I go to Joe's class four times a week. It is an early morning class. There are only 5 students and not all of us attend his class four times a week. Sometimes I am the only one who makes eye contact with Joe. I wish Student number 2 and 3 would show up and make me company. I start to get tired of his class somehow.


Any comment?
