Usage of comma
Rebecca Smith requested a copy of that expense report, so I had the courier take one over to her last week.
Can you please tell/explain to me what rule (comma) is used in the sentence above.

The comma in the above sentence is a natural pause, try saying the sentence without pausing for breath after 'report'. If you put it anywhere else, it breaks up the sentence in an unnatural way.
