Please help me correct sentences
How can I correct the following sentences? Which area of error applies to each sentence:Vocab/grammar, L1 Syntax, L1 Pronunciation or False Cognate.
1- Mexico City is the greatest city in Mexico with almost 15 Million people
2- He can’t play football because of his damaged leg

I think we can rule out L1 pronunciation error.
The syntax/grammar is correct.
There is a vocabulary 'error' in each sentence, which might be false cognates.
Can you work out which words they are?
PS: There should be a comma after Mexico, but I don't think that's the error they want.

Thanks Raymott for steering me in the right direction.
1- Mexico City is the greatest city in Mexico with almost 15 Million people
Here is my attempt at correcting it. In this sentence greatest (false cognate) would be replaced with largest.
2- He can’t play football because of his damaged leg.
I would replace damage (false cognate) with injured.
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks again!
