entitled/gave the right/deserves/has some right/incidentally/by the way/resume/
Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to share with me your opinion concerning rephrasing of the following sentences?
The permit entitled Gregory to carry a weapon.
The permit gave Gregory the right to carry a weapon.
He is entitled to this honor.
He deserves this honor.
He has some right to this honor.
I came across a book entitled “Key to the door”.
I came across a book under the title of “Key to the door”
He is not entitled to such privileges.
He has no right to such privileges.
I have just heard from him and, incidentally, he is asking after me.
I have just heard from him, and, by the way, he is asking after me.
He may be coming back soon to resume his studies.
He may be coming back soon to start again his studies.
Thank you for your efforts.
Regards,
V.
