Can You tell how to improve listening skill quickly?

I intend to sit an ielts exam immediately and I have doubt about my listening skill. I don't know how strong am I of listening. I think I have decrease it because I stop studying English for a while. I beg you to tell me about your experience or your idea depending on your profession.
