What is the most natural, and coloquial, way to say in English that, for instance, a student has hit 7 questions and failed 3 on a test?
a) "Mr. So-and-so scored 7 questions and failed 3." - Is this correct ?
And to ask someone how many questions he answered right or wrong,
say for example:
b) How many questions did you do right ?
c) How many have you gotten right?
d) How many did you get ?
e) How many did you score ?
f) How many did you miss?
g) How many did you err?
h) How many did you mistake?
Would you please check if the sentences above are correct and used in colloquial English? Are there differences from AmE, BrE and AuE here?
PS Please feel free to correct any mistakes on my posts.
