Wales, not Whales.

The cottage is in Wales, but since that's where the cottage is, that's where the renovation process is taking place as well.

If you said "I ate dinner at the table in the dining room" does it matter whether "in the dining room" refers to where you ate or where the table is? No, because that's where you're eating. So it applies equally to both.
