Default LOndon

Hello
I'm Philippe, 35 years olde, and I brushed up english 6 months ago.
I'm going to London from the 19th to the 26th of february.
Although I've planned my trip there, could you tell me how practice english all day, how meet english speaking people, how speak with them without to be unpopular...
What are the topics that they like to talk ?
Thanks for your help

ph

Many people find London a bit unfriendly at first, and one reason is that people there don't often start conversations with people they don't know. It's hard to say what people like to talk about; work, politics, football, etc. Rather than trying to prepare topics, just try to be natural, and in places like cafes and pubs, etc, where it is possible to meet them, be prepared to speak first. If not, you might find that they don't start speaking to you.
