FREE PLACEMENT, NO SERVICE CHARGE
There is a recruitment agency posting an online advert for hiring local people to work abroad. At the bottom of the advert, it stated,
"FREE PLACEMENT, NO SERVICE CHARGE"

- What does FREE PLACEMENT mean?
- Does NO SERVICE CHARGE mean :
- the agent would not charge the successful candidate for commission?
- the agent would not charge for referral of attending the interview?
Tks / ju

It means if you get a job by dealing with this recruitment agency, they won't charge you a fee - you won't have to pay for it. The service charge would be money you pay for getting a job through the recruitment agency. They will charge the company that hires you money. I would be careful about advertisements like this because I think it's strange to have to "pay to get a job" in the first place.
