deepest province
Dear Friends,
In a film A was trying to persuade B to go with him to live in a foreigh country and A says:
"Come on, you live here in the deepest province."
Does 'deepest province' have a figurative (or slang) meaning? I cannot find it in any dictionary.
Thank you.

Re: deepest province
It suggests remote/isolated/a long way from the bustle of city life to me.
