How will I say this?
Hi,
For ex. I am filling a few details in a online form, will it be right to say..
I am feeding in the details.
I am putting in the details.
I am filling in the details.
Which is more appropriate and why?
Where and how can the expressions "feeding in", "putting in", "filling in" be used in a sentence?
Thanks

It depends. Context is needed here. I can only imagine where and how these phrases would be used.
I am feeding in the details. - computer or technology related? Just guessing.
I am putting in the details. - I don't know. It's correct, but I can't think of exactly how one would use it. There's always searching for the phrase in Google. Put it in quotations in the Google search box. You'll need to have the Google toolbar and activate "Find bar" - find and highlight words. This is in "Options".
I am filling in the details. - filling out a form - maybe

In BrE, "filling in the details" is correct. We use "to fill in a form" where Americans "fill out a form".

Yes! I agree with bhaisahab
Thank you for giving a hint on Americans English!

Re: How will I say this?
I've also heard a very colloquial expression - 'plug in': 'I plugged his name into Google.'
