fix

Hi

Let's say I'm at the reception in a hotel and I'm trying to clear a matter up with the receptionist and then when I'm back at my hotel room I say to my roomate: "Now everything's fine. That girl at the reception has already fixed me OR That girl has already fixed everything for me."

--- Can I use the word "fix" in this way, meaning that she helped me to solve my problem?

I wouldn't say 'fixed me'. I would go with fixed everything for me/us'.
You could also say that the receptionist has dealt with the problem or took care of it. Resolved it. ;-)

How about: She has already waited on me.

What do you mean by 'waited one me'? Do you want say, that when you got to the reception desk, she was already aware of your problem/dealing with it?

"wait on sb" like in a restaurant.

In that case I would say, 'She was already waiting for me'

I thought we are still talking about the receptionist and he gave waiter as a example. Thanks bhaisahab I'll bare that in mind. I am still in process of learning. :up:

If we were talking about receptionist, would the sentence above be correct?

No, we don't use "to wait on someone" for a receptionist.
