what can I respond?
My colleague has said "see you tomorrow" to me before leaving. But for some reasons he comes back after few minutes. So that I want to make a joke. What would you say if you were me?
I have said: " I didn't know that tomorrow has come".
Thanks so much.

Your response is fine, you could also say
"Wow, that 24 hours sure went by quickly" or
"I must have been sleeping, it seems I have missed a day!"

I would say, "Oh, another day has arrived without a notice."
