Smile finite and infinite verbs

hi,

I would like to know what finite , and infinite verbs are , in an easy language.

Finite Verbs - Glossary Definition - UsingEnglish.com

They are less common grammatical terms - that is to say, as an average person they aren't terms I use and I had to look them up first to remind myself. The finite example: 'I go' is finite because there's a limit placed on the verb 'go': 'I' is the limit so it defines the verb 'go' in limiting terms.
'to go' such as, 'I like to go...' doesn't have the same limit placed on it. This is how I have understood the terms, at any rate.
