Default fall into the hands of someone

    Hello.

    Merriam-Webster's Learner's Dictionary
    fall into the hands of
: to come to be held or possessed by (someone)
    ▪ Officials are concerned that the stolen weapons may fall into the hands of terrorists. [=that terrorists may get/obtain the stolen weapons]

Can I say "fall into terrorists' hands" in place of "fall into the hands of terrorists"?

    - fall into the hands of me
    - fall into my hands
    Do both sound good?

    Thank you.

Can I say "fall into terrorists' hands" in place of "fall into the hands of terrorists"? You could but "fall into the hands of..." is better.

    - fall into the hands of me No. You could say "fall into these hands of mine" but you would get strange looks if you did.
    - fall into my hands Yes.
