I read this sentence in one of the threads in the forum and I wanna ask a question:Your examples do not house a linking verb.
Can we use the word house as a verb? What meaning does the word house above suggest?
To house (vb.), to enclose or encase. In the field of Linguistics, words, phrases and sentences are viewed as having a structure; moreover, structures are represented in writing using square brackets ( [ . . .]), like the walls of a house.![]()
