You can not use worthy to express an amount As:
a necklace worth $10,000, a person worth millions

Similarly you can not use worth to express something noble/helping other people.
The money will go to a worthy cause.
I'm sure his motives were worthy.

Worth as an adjective, means that it has a value or having wealth, e.g.

I don’t think it is worth the money.

She is worth her weight in gold.

He is worth millions


Worthy

Worthy describes merit, something which someone or something has earned, e.g.

This is a book worthy of praise.

The International Red Cross is a worthy cause.
