Hi Kurtlau!! In the first case you have "simple present tense" which indicates that you habitually do the thing you mention.
Eg,

I always do my homework in the afternoon

I always watch TV in the evening

I always have coffee for breakfast


In the second sentence you have "present continuous tense" + "always" which indicates some kind of "annoyance" on the part of the speaker.

Eg,

I am always working

She is always complaining

He is always making noise

They are always telling me what to do
