couch vs coach
I know couch means a sofa, a place someone uses to rest.
And coach means a trainer - the chief trainer of a soccer team for instance.
However, I ask:
Can the word couch also mean coach? In case of an affirmative answer in which regions is it used with that meaning? And regarding pronunciation, when couch means coach, is the pronunciation the same?
PS Feel free to correct any mistakes in my posts.
Re: couch vs coach
No, couch never means coach. There may be regions where coach is pronounced somewhat like couch, however.
