Default Euphemism

Hello!
How are u doing???
I'm a student . My major is english, so this summer i'm going to graduate the university , my diploma work is Euphemisms. So i want to knoow more about these words more deeply.

I think the issue of political correctness should be a big part of your thesis. Political Correctness (or PC) is an example of the constant use of euphemism in language. In essence it's all about politeness. Some of these politically correct terms are right out stupid or ridiculous let alone very imprecise. There are too many of those to mention. You should be able to find a whole galore of politically correct terms for your thesis on the net. Political correctness has found its way into numerous jokes and funnies as well.

In addition to the PC industry, many euphemisms cover topics that are taboo, like death, sex, illness and the toilet.
