Are there differences in meaning and/or usage regarding the prepositions to and with in 'talk to', 'talk with', 'speak to', 'speak with'?
For example:
You should talk to the teacher about it.
You should talk with the teacher about it.
You should speak to the teacher about it.
You should speak with the teacher about it.
I heard in North America it is more common to say "talk to" while in the UK it is more common to say "talk with", is that correct?
