I am so sorry. I meant smaller units of money given in exchange for larger units of the same amount .

A says " I haven't change". ( What I think she should have said I dont have change of Rs 100)

In reply B says " I don't have change either." ( change means the change of Rs100)

Now in this context what do you say; Can we say I havent change?

I thougt about that also in which case 'not' is incorrect, since after that you must have an action verb. If it denotes possession (a noun - change), you can say, I have no change

So, I have no change is correct Here 'no' is an adjctive modifying the noun change and I do not have change is incorrect? is also correct as it is expressed nagatively. Meaning of both is the same
