    Default good deal of something

    Hi everyone;
    I am reading a book , and I encountered a phrase, I can not understand it:

    "She has only one male visitor, but a good deal of him.He is dark ,handsome and dashing, never calls less than once a day .."

    Is anybody can describe the meaning of it? I 've made an investigation, but its meaning do not fit here.

    He is her only visitor but he constantly visits her.
