How do you pronounce names like the latin playwright Seneca and Claudius (Hamlet)?

Seneca
Claudius

seh'-neh-cah (as in seth-nelly-california)

Clah'-oo-dee-oos (as in clam-loot-dee-loose)

I hope this is nearly as half as clear as I intended it to be...

Claudius...pronounce "au" as /o/ = klôdies

Even though I reckon this is the right way it's not how us (i.e. Spanish speakers) would read the word Claudius. The one I put is...
