How offensive are they to Christians?
I often hear people using some words which are related to God, and am wondering how offensive these words are to average Christians:
2. Oh, my god!
3. Holy shit!
4. Oh, my goodness!
5. Jesus Christ!
8. For goodness's sake
9. Oh, my lord!
Can you give some advice? To be more specific, in business settings, if you don't know whether your audience are Christians, then which ones in the list above can be used safely?
Re: How offensive are they to Christians?
I've never heard anyone express offense for any of them save for a general offence against "swearing".

Generally, it's a good idea to avoid any of these until you've sussed out your audience. Even then, what might be tolerated in the bar/restaurant/relaxing with business chum would not be viewed the same in the office.
