    Thumbs up please help me...

Please check the grammaticality of these sentences. Can i use BUT and AND in them? I'm very confused about choosing of AND and BUT. PLease help me to undestand it!!! Thank you very much in advance.

Many people expressed concern, and a few were willing to work.

Few people expressed concern, and some were willing to work.

All people expressed concern, and a few were willing to work.
A few people expressed concern, but all were willing to work.

Not all people expressed concern, and a few were willing to help.
A few people expressed concern, but not all were willing to help.

Use AND to ADD more to the thought, to extend it.
Use BUT to reverse the thought.

Many people expressed concern, and a few were willing to work.
This is okay. Here is how to use BUT here:
    > Many people expressed concern, but only a few were willing to work.

Few people expressed concern, and some were willing to work.
    > A few people expressed concern, and some were even willing to work.
    > Only a few people expressed concern, but some of those were willing to work.

All people expressed concern, and a few were willing to work.
Everyone expressed concern, but only a few were willing to work.
Everyone expressed concern, and a few were even wiling to work.

A few people expressed concern, but all were willing to work.
This is a good use of the word "but," but I'm not sure it is logical thought.

Not all people expressed concern, and a few were willing to help.
Not everyone expressed concern, but a few people were willing to help.

A few people expressed concern, but not all were willing to help.
Yes, if the expression "but not all" refers to the "few who expressed concern": A few people expressed concern, but not all of them were willing to help.
