correction of a few sentences 4
Dear teachers,
Would you be kind enough to share with me your opinion concerning the feasibility of the following sentences?
I committed it to a friend for safe-keeping.
Precautions to be taken by safe keeping of explosives at quarries.
She gave a detailed account of the accident.
He accounted for five of the enemy.
Our battery accounted for three enemy planes.
This action reflects little credit on him.
They reaffirmed their commitment that thy would help.
Whp gave you the authority to do this?
We have to apply to the authority.
I have to make the supreme sacrifice.
I am not to be abused by.
He is not to be swayed.
She struggled to overcome her prejudice.
This was a life-and-death struggle.
It was a struggle to make ends meet.
They struggled to remain alive.
How much have I to my credit?
He has been wrongly credited with this discovery.
I gave you credit for being a more sensible fellow.
He resolved to employ all his credit in order to prevent the marriage.
No credit is given in this shop!
This store does not give credit!
You would hardly credit him with having acted so foolishly.
Her work does credit to her teacher.
