Cool Hard work pays off or is worth?

    Hello amigos!

Hard works pays off/ is worth in the end.

Does it have similar meaning to "compensate"?

    Thanks,

    Sam

is worth- this is incomplete 'is worth it' would be better.

They mean that hard work brings some form of reward, not necessarily financial, that makes you feel that the time and effort were not wasted.
