Are these correct? What do they mean?
1. Our lives get busier as we grow older. (Does this mean one life for each person or more than one?)
2. Our life gets busier as we grow older. (One life for each person?)
Thanks.

Jack, you must use common sense: we each have one life, no matter how it is phrased. For this reason-- common sense--, either sentence can be used to express this idea. #1 is recommended because it creates the notional concord of 'our' and 'lives'.
