[General] Does this sentence make sense??

Hi, i would be grateful if you could tell me if the following sentence makes sense:

"This lesser land in which i live."

If this sentence does make sense can you tell me the meaning?

I want it to mean "inferior or less important land", but I would ideally like to keep the word "lesser" if possible. Only of course if it makes sense??

Yes, I think it makes sense. (It's not a complete sentence, but as a phrase it makes sense.)

The meaning I got out of it was the same as the explanation you gave for what you are trying to say, as far as I can tell.

I would take this to be spoken by a resident of a shabby and overlooked colony of a glorious and mighty nation, for example (reading "land" in the sense of "nation, country.")

If the context showed me that it was about "land" in the sense of "fields" -- that the land I own is lower in quality than the land farmed by other people -- then it still makes sense, but it seems a little too grand a phrase to refer to a "less-productive agricultural area."
