mom
Can someone give me an example of a stanza in poetry?

Re: mom
A stanza is just another word for verse. The following is a poem with two four-line stanzas by Emily Dickinso"n:
The bustle in a house
The morning after death
Is solemnest of industries
Enacted upon earth, -
The sweeping up the heart,
And putting love away
We shall not want to use again
Until eternity.
