"composition title" or "composition subject"?
On a composition class, the teacher gave us a _____: On the use of technology in teaching and learning. (This is not a test question; I write this sentence myself.)
What's the proper word in the blank? "Title" or "subject" or other words?
Best Wishes,

Best Wishes,
1. "In a composition class the teacher gave us a subject: " On the..."
2. "In a composition class the teacher gave us a title: "On the..."
In 1. the teacher has given you the subject to write about, you choose the title yourself.
In 2. the teacher has given you the title, this must be the title of the piece and also the subject of it.
