Hello, which conjunction is correct?
1) The play started when I got there.
2) The play started as I got there.
3) The play started while I got there.
I think 3) is incorrect and maybe the correct version is
4) The play started while I was arriving there.

"The play was starting when I arrived" is better, if you mean to say that at the moment you arrived the play was just beginning.
