    Default Suit vs Fit

Make me cry, it suits/fits you.

Which does go well? What would you say?

    "It suits you".

"It fits you" is general used for clothes, etc. meaning it's the right size.

There is also a quite obscure word - 'befit'. She wore black, as befits a recent widow. So in some circumstances crying could befit someone, in the sense 'be fitting/suitable'; but not just fit.

And for "Its suits you", you can say "It becomes you" (which should not be taken literally).
