Are we faced with the necessity of using a coma?
Would you be kind enough to tell me whether there is a vital necessity of coma in the following sentences as it is in my native language?
But for the wind the weather would be nice.
But for your help the old woman would not have risked crossing the street.
Thank you for your efforts.

I would always use a comma after "wind" and after "help."
