Smile "(to) look at a TV program"

    Hi,

Do native English speakers say "(to) look at a TV program"?
    Is it idiomatic?

    For example:
I looked at a TV program yesterday which is about ....

I think the following two are correct:
I watched a TV program yesterday which is about ....
I saw a TV program yesterday which is about ....

    Sincerely,

Normally, I would say I watched NUMB3RS and CSI:NY last night.

You're correct. Watched and saw would be used rather than looked at.

You are right. Mostly we say "watched a TV program". However, elderly people sometimes still say "looked at TV".
